Loyalty Program
For all areas of retailing, intense and strong competition and struggling for customers is typical. Loyal customers are a prerequisite for stability of retailers and their long term profitability. In co-operation with First Data, any retailer (retail chains, hotels, restaurants, petrol stations, travel agencies, etc.) can have their own loyalty program based on loyalty cards. Utilisation of a payment or plastic card within a loyalty program is limitless.
How does it or can it work (one of several possibilities)?
After reading the card by a card reader /terminal/ at the POS, the terminal connects to the central database in First Data, which retrospectively within few seconds provides information on the customer and his loyalty account balance. The loyalty account balance or transaction value will be printed on the receipt. First Data provides help with building and implementing of the loyalty systems.
